What to expect from the treatment?
The first consultation will last approximately 1 hour. This enables us to gain a clear understanding of your state of health. You will be asked some simple questions about your lifestyle, dietary habits, and general health. Any necessary physical examinations will be carried out with your approval. Treatment usually comprises a mixture of herbal medicine in the form of tinctures (alcoholic extractions of herbs) to be taken internally. Also, patients may be given capsules, teas, lotions or creams. Recommendations regarding lifestyle and diet are usually advised.

An appointment is recommended two to three weeks after the initial visit and at monthly intervals thereafter. These appointments allow the patient and practitioner to discuss the progression of their treatment. To keep your treatment tailor-made to you, we may then alter the prescription to the your changing needs. The number of visits varies depending upon the requirements of the patient.
